Tune in for Afternoon Classical with Mike Goldberg

Mike Goldberg hosts "Afternoon Classical" weekdays from 2PM until 6PM on VPM Music (93.1 and 107.3 in Richmond, VA, simulcast on 89.1 WCNV Heathsville and 90.1 WMVE Chase City).  He also hosts "Breakfast Classics" each weekend morning from 8AM until 10AM.  Mike regularly interviews some of the most distinguished classical musicians, such as Lang Lang, Joshua Bell, Hilary Hahn, Anne Akiko Meyers, Gil Shaham, Seong-Jin Cho, Simone Dinnerstein, Kirill Gerstein, Stephen Hough, Orli Shaham, Alisa Weilerstein, Rachel Barton Pine, Matt Haimovitz, Jennifer Koh, Yolanda Kondonassis, JoAnn Falletta, Semyon Bychkov and Jason Vieaux. He produces and hosts regular in-studio performances and interviews, as well as the weekly local program "An Hour with the Richmond Symphony."  He has also produced a special monthly segment "Symphony Spotlight", highlighting the careers of orchestral musicians across the country. 

Mike hosts the pre-concert talks for the Richmond Symphony and the Modlin Center for the Arts, as well as the Richmond Philharmonic.
